2018 at Good Hope Studies
Wow, 2018 raced by – to put it mildly – but here’s wishing us all an even better 2019!
With the coming of a new year, we always take some time to reflect on the previous 12 months, with the aim of reviewing both the victories and challenges faced. Thankfully, 2018 was marked by two important firsts for Good Hope Studies, namely our participation at the inaugural ICEF Africa Workshop in May 2018, and shortly thereafter, our hard-fought confirmation of registration with the Department of Higher Education & Training (DHET) as a recognised Private College under the prevailing education and immigration legal frameworks. Being accredited by DHET enables all our clients coming to study with us for more than 3 months to get Study Visas without any hassle.
We also installed additional Promethean Interactive Whiteboards at both our Newlands & City Centre campuses. The boards allow us to implement the latest teaching technology in our classrooms. Both teachers and students benefit from and enjoy the tech perks offered by these boards.
Wishing you all much success and happiness in 2019!
GHS Student House Upgrade
In late November, we renovated the kitchen, including the dining room area, at our GHS Student House in Rondebosch and added 2 additional single rooms to the property. We can now offer our students 4 single rooms, 3 twin rooms and 1 four-sleeper room.
We are more than happy with this exciting upgrade that will provide our students with a more friendly and comfortable environment.
As the GHS Student House is within walking distance of our Newlands Campus, it is an ideal choice of accommodation that we can highly recommend.
50-Plus Programme in March
This is almost the last chance for your clients to book our 50-Plus Programme from 3 to 16 March 2019 which is specifically designed for the generation of 50 years and above. The package includes accommodation at one of our selected GHS Homestay-Plusfamilies and includes breakfast and dinner, English classes in the morning, fun and informative excursions in the afternoon as well as an exciting 3,5 day tour along South Africa's world famous Garden Route.
GHS free Transfer Service
We are now offering a free transfer service exclusively for Good Hope Studies students. The service is provided on school days in the mornings from the GHS Student Residence to the GHS City Centre Campus and back to the residence after school.
