Village English is committed to students’ academic success through the most up to date English curriculum, exceptional teachers, qualified staff and renovated facility. Our mission is to help students achieve their language learning goals quickly. We do this by keeping classes small and dynamic to ensure effective interaction, individualized attention and results.
Excellent Home Stay program. Our school is located in the charming village of Streetsville, with a small town feel of safety and friendliness, but really within the city of Mississauga, with a population of 704,000, it is one of Canada’s largest and safest cities.
Conveniently located just 20 minutes from Toronto, Mississauga is a modern, well-planned, growing urban city with vibrant business, sports and arts communities. A short trip in one direction by bus, train or car will bring you to the real country, in the other direction into downtown Toronto. Small town charm and big city fun. Truly, the best of both worlds.

VILLAGE ENGLISH obeys and conforms to all Canadian laws and policies, as all students are expected to follow. These following first 4 items below are of most importance that should be taken into account in all situations such as class, school, homestay and activities.

Drinking- No one under the age of 19 may drink alcohol

In every Canadian province (except for Quebec where the legal age is 18) the legal drinking age is 19. If you are caught drinking underage, under the influence or in possession of alcohol the authorities (police) will be notified, along with your family in your home country. This will result in expulsion from the school and a return home.

Smoking- No one under the age of 19 can buy tobacco
In Canada, the legal smoking age is 16. However so, the legal buying age of any tobacco products is 19. It is also illegal to buy cigarettes for anyone who is under 19. Always be aware of your surroundings, look for signs designating special smoking areas. The majority of indoor places in Canada are smoke-free zones and if breached may result in a large fine. If in breach of this rule you may be sent home.

Illicit Drugs- No Drugs Allowed
Drugs are not tolerated and taken very seriously in Canada. Getting caught using, under the influence or in possession of any illegal drugs will result in the immediate contacting of the police. You may be fined, arrested or deported by legal authorities.

Use of False I.D.- No fake identification
It is very common for underage students to get their hands on a false identification and usually do not see the harm in having one. Anyone caught with false identification will result in expulsion and the authorities will be notified.
Payment Method : Bank Transfer
Student shall deposit a full payment directly to the school’s bank account within 7 days of receiving booking approval from the school.
Village English offers a refund to the student in the following situations. Refunds to students who enrolled through a representative should be collected from the representative. All cancelations guidelines listed below apply equally to students who have enrolled through a representative. In cases where a special or seasonal rate has been negotiated, refunds will be issued based on standard Village English list prices, not based on the negotiated rate. Where refunds have been approved, the refund will be made in the mode the original payment was made e.g. if the fees were paid by credit card, then Village English will issue a debit advice against the original credit card for the refund. Bank fees are non-refundable.

All application fees, placement fees, courier fees and bank fees are non-refundable.

Program Changes and Vacations:
If you reduce your hours of tuition but continue unbroken study at Village English, you may use any remaining fees, which will be calculated by the General Manager, to extend your study period. You may take vacation once in a 4-month period, after 2 months of continuous study. No refund will be given, but if you pay an administration fee, you may extend your study period by your vacation time. A minimum of 80% attendance is required in order for the student to receive the CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT, there will be no refunds or make up class for unjustified missed classes.
