Satisfactorily completed SPM Certificate;
or any other equivalent educational qualification (recognized by Malaysian Government).

Terms & Conditions

Attendance/Academic Progress
Regular attendance of a minimum 90% rate is a requirement for all students. Students must also maintain satisfactory academic progress at all times.

Student Insurance
All Students are required to maintain an insurance cover for the full length of their studies. It is also the student’s responsibility to check the conditions of their health cover.

Fees
All students are to settle their dues to the college within the first 5 days of the month or 5 days from the date the payment is due. Students who default the payments may not be able to enjoy some of the privileges accorded to the students. A non-refundable Enrolment/Application/EMGS fee of RM2,000.00 (exclusive of Tuition fees, material fees etc) is required at the time of enrolment and this guarantees your place in the course. The enrolment deadline is 10 days after the commencement of course. Students who fall behind in the payment of their fees or fail to pay their tuition fee on the due date, may be charged a late payment fee of RM200.00 per semester or may be refused training and assessment services and any requests until such times as the fees are paid and up-to-date. Please note that students will be required to maintain academic course progress in consultation with the Course Coordinator.

Fee Refund Policy
This is issued to outline the policy for fee refund and the guidelines to be adhered to in counseling and processing of fee refunds to the students. Application and enrolment fees paid are normally neither refundable nor transferable. Tuition fees are fully refundable under circumstances indicated below.

An offer of a place is withdrawn by Yes Academy or the college is unable to provide the course registered for. If the offer, however, was made on the basis of incorrect or incomplete information provided by the applicant, the college reserves the right to retain 10% of the tuition fees in the first semester.
A student fails to progress to the next semester or level and is consequently not allowed to re-enroll, if the fees for the subsequent semester or level have been paid in advance.
Inability to obtain a student visa with supporting documentation
Illness or disability as certified by the panel doctors of the college.

Partial refunds are paid under the circumstances shown below
A student, withdrawing from a program enrolled at Yes Academy, shall be refunded 70% of the tuition fees, provided written notice is received by the Academic Director at least 14 days before commencement of the semester
In the event that written notice for withdrawal of a program is received less than 14 days before commencement of the semester, the refund is 30% of the tuition fees.

There will be no refund of tuition fees once the semester has commenced, regardless of whether the student attends classes or not. Resource fee, laboratory fee, project fee and other such facility or service fees are not refundable.

The following guidelines are to be used in the processing of fee refund:
Student who is applying for refund of fees are required to fill in a standard fee refund form. Please refer to Student Services Division. The Head of School/Department is required to certify the number of weeks the student attended class, date of termination and the recommendation as to whether the fee is to be refunded. The course termination form or the letter from the student where applicable is to be attached for appeal of refund.

The following guidelines are to be used in the computation of the fee to be refunded:
all types of discounts granted will be disallowed
the fee to be retained shall be a proportion of the gross tuition fees calculated as the number of months student attended the course / duration of the course / semester
a 10% penalty fee shall be levied on the amount of fees refundable after (1.1) and (1.2) above. However, fees paid in advance will not be subjected to the 10% penalty fee.

All fee refunds must be approved by the Head of School before forwarding to the Finance Division.
Registration Procedure
Potential students are to seek academic counseling from the college’s personnel before making a decision to enroll in a particular course. The counselors will be able to assist the student to understand the profile and structure of the course, as well as the general rules, conditions and the fees payable for the course.

The student must meet the minimum entry requirements to enroll in the course and the college has the complete discretion to deny entry if the minimum requirements are not met by the applicant.

The student must fill all the relevant particulars in the application form available at the counseling counter of the college, with the attachments of copies of the relevant documents such as photo-passport sized, I/C / passport, academic certificates, school leaving certificate, testimonials, etc. These items will automatically be filed into the student’s personal file.

Upon the acceptance of the student by the college, the student is to remit the stipulated fees to the cashier’s office at the college. Only upon the payment of the fees will the student be eligible for his/her student ID.

New students are to attend the orientation session by the college to understand the general guidelines and the personnel involved. The schedule for classes and other activities will normally be given during the orientation session.

Complaints and Appeals Policy
Students have access to a Complaints and Appeals procedure if they feel they have been unjustly treated or have a serious complaint. Students who feel they have any type of complaint should first contact the Administration Manager. If necessary the complaint will be referred to the Principal in order to resolve the situation. A student dissatisfied with an activity or a decision regarding with their academic outcomes can voice their concerns to the staff member concerned and, if appropriate, appeal to the Principal. If the matter is one of general concern students should talk first to the trainer as a group of students. Matters which may cause concern could include the quality of training and assessment, apparent prejudice or partiality in assessment, heavy workloads and so on.

Student Code of Conduct
All people associated with YES Academy have the same rights. Harassment, bullying and victimisation will not be tolerated at
YES. Discrimination on any grounds is unacceptable. Students who feel that they are being sexually harassed or are the victims of any sort of racism should initially contact the Administration Manager. I f the complaint is sufficiently serious; the Principal may establish a formal inquiry and/or refer to external authorities.

Change of Address and Contact Details
Upon arriving in Malaysia you are required to advise us of your residential and email address, telephone number and of any subsequent changes to these contact details. It is your responsibility to ensure that you always update your contact details at the college to ensure you receive important information about your course, fees receipts and any other important information at least every 6 months.
Payment Method : Bank Transfer, Credit card
Student shall deposit a full payment directly to the school’s bank account within 7 days of receiving booking approval from the school.
